Mick had a warm welcome when he visited Newtown telephone exchange on Monday and met with Openreach engineers including new recruits Andrew Jones, Neil Edwards and Gethin Davies. Having completed their training Andrew, Neil and Gethin join an established team of local telephone engineers committed to delivering a high quality repair and installation service to phone company customers in Mid Wales.

Mick stated "It is a pleasure to be given the opportunity to meet with members of the team in Newtown. I know that they are keen to provide us all with the best service possible. Rural Wales has some unique challenges and our best chance at resolving them is through highly skilled engineers with good local knowledge!"
