Traffic issues in Newtown

Poor transport infrastructure has caused major traffic issues around the county.  Following a plethora of complaints from passengers about the trains being dirty, overcrowded and unreliable, Mick has said "Enough is enough!  I have written time and again to the Minister and nothing has changed.  I have asked for a meeting with passenger representatives and the new chief of Arriva."

Mick is campaigning for an hourly train service between Newtown and Shrewsbury and better transport links to encourage more business and reduce traffic congestion which leads to heavy carbon emissions.
